Engineer in Computer Science and Programming

You have made the right choice by selecting the program that aligns with your expectations. This is a dual competency program exclusively offered at ESAT University. The following document allows you to :

General Presentation

Future computer engineers have a common core that allows them to learn programming languages (C, C++, UNIX, SCRIPT, JAVA, PHP), graphics, robotics, computer culture, English, mathematics, information systems design, certifications, and multimedia.

The training during the three years is based on a professional approach.

Through internships in companies, which are generally mandatory in engineering education, students gain the necessary professional experience.

Curriculum

The programs are developed at the institutional level through collaboration with university professors and professionals from the University.

The Mathematics and Physics program aligns with the preparatory program of engineering schools.

The courses for one academic year are distributed over 26 weeks, which equals 13 weeks per semester. In the first year, students receive instruction in three subject groups.

  • Basic Scientific Subjects (Mathematics, Physics).
  • Specialized Subjects (Aerodynamics, Materials, Legislation, Navigation, etc.).
  • Languages (Aviation English, Technical French Expression).

In the second year, scientific education begins to specialize. Specialized education and language courses continue.

Admission Requirements.

Le cycle ingénieur est ouvert :

  • To students who have successfully passed the National Entrance Exam for Engineering Training Programs.
  • To students from the preparatory program at ESAT who have successfully completed both years of the program; to students from preparatory classes who have successfully completed both years of the program.
  • For students holding scientific and technological bachelor's degrees, access to the various engineering programs at ESAT will be subject to criteria of excellence based on the candidates' academic curriculum.

Admission will be granted following a presentation of the academic record and an individual motivational interview with the pedagogical and scientific committee of ESAT.

The program is open to candidates with a scientific or technical high school diploma who are initially required to complete a two-year preparatory program. It is also open to those holding a DUPC or a scientific bachelor's degree who are expected to pursue a six-semester program culminating in the defense of their final project (PFE).

Duration of Studies

The studies leading to the end of the preparatory cycle are organized over 3 years now consisting of six semesters of instruction.
