Telecommunications and Networks Engineer

Preparatory programs remain a preferred pathway to access top engineering schools in Tunisia or abroad.

They allow you to acquire the necessary foundations in two years to pursue more in-depth and applied studies leading to an engineering degree

General Presentation

The curriculum of the program includes modules introducing telecommunications systems and network technologies such as signal, telecommunications, electronics, computer science, and networks. It also consists of advanced modules aimed at reinforcing the scientific foundations required for the engineering profession on one hand, and initiating students in the components of network and telecommunications systems so that they can master their architecture and integration on the other hand. The key aspects of this program revolve around:

  • Telecommunications Systems Architecture.
  • Mobile Communications.
  • Protocol and Network Engineering.
  • Distributed Systems and Networks.

Expected Outcomes at the End of the Program

The Network and Telecommunications Engineer :

  • Designs.
  • Deploys innovative applications for connected devices leveraging artificial intelligence.
  • Implements and supervises data center architectures.
  • Ensures the security of transactions over the Internet and digital content.
  • He resolves potential issues related to addressing, broadcasting, coding, encryption, and storage.
  • Supervises the assembly of hardware components and software for complex products.
  • He defines the architecture of a network or develops software designed to process digital signals.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the bachelor's program, you must hold the minimum required diploma for the level of education you are aiming for

  • Access to the first year of the engineering program : To hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification for international students - Successfully pass the admission interview.
  • Access to the second year of the engineering program: Successfully completed the first year of a bachelor's degree in science and technology - Successfully pass the admission interview.

Duration of Studies

The studies leading to the end of the preparatory cycle are organized over 3 years now consisting of six semesters of instruction.
