Computer and Programming Engineer

The proposed degree responds to an increased and urgent demand in the field of automotive, which is experiencing accelerated technological transformations. Core disciplines include:

  • The new injection systems, diagnostic equipment.
  • The refrigeration systems, anti-pollution systems.
  • Protocol and Network Engineering
  • Expected outcomes at the end of the program.

The new bodywork materials are elements that demand specialized training focused on mastering design and, as such, require the education of qualified and versatile personnel. The top-performing students can continue their studies to pursue a master's degree or an engineering diploma.

General Objective

To train professionals capable of assembling, adjusting, repairing, upgrading, and reinstalling panels, circuits, and connections on industrial electromechanical equipment, machines, and installations. This expertise ensures the safe and efficient operation of installations and equipment. Additionally, our goal is to equip mechanics with the skills to identify and repair defects in vehicles, ensuring they operate according to the manufacturer's specifications.

The electromechanic, depending on their experience, will either work within a team supervised by a team leader or, when experienced in their role, may work alone, traveling to a client's location to perform technical visits, inspections, and other tasks.

His personal qualities enable him to become a team leader or the owner of his own business, such as an automotive maintenance garage, and more.

Specific Objectives

The objective of this training is to educate mechanics who can identify and repair defects encountered in a vehicle. These mechanics typically work at automotive dealerships, in repair shops, or are self-employed.

Academic Perspectives

After completing this training, students can pursue further education in Master's or Engineering programs.

  • Engineer/Master's in Mechanical Engineering
  • Engineer/Master's in Renewable Energy"
  • Engineer/Master's in Embedded Systems
  • Engineer/Master's in Electrical Engineering.
  • Engineer/Master's in Electronics
  • Engineer/Master's in Process Engineering
  • Engineer/Master's in Electromechanical Engineering

International Perspectives

  • Opportunity to carry out internships abroad as part of the partnerships established between ESAT and international universities. We have already had a mobility program (internship from February to June 2018) with the University of Girona (UdG) in Spain for one of our students in the Applied Automotive Mechanics program (the program was already accredited before the unified program). Thanks to the ESAT-UdG agreement, this student, Amir Ben Aissa, secured a scholarship for a Master's program (MMS Mechanics of Materials and Structures) and graduated with a Master's degree from the university in July 2019.
  • Opportunity to receive Erasmus mobility scholarships during the university course, as well as for carrying out the final internship (mobility in Semester 6) at partner universities with signed Erasmus agreements. ESAT has already been awarded Erasmus scholarships for students since February 2017. ESAT received confirmation of Erasmus scholarships for the academic year 2019-2020 following accepted Erasmus projects.
  • Possibility of obtaining a Master's degree with a scholarship from our international partners.
